crusade #34 and journal pages

okay, first up, i'm working in a little 4" x 6" journal now along with my big 8" x 10" journal. last night i did these three little pages. the third page is actually the backside of the second page and isn't finished yet, but i wanted to show you the way the stitches look.

next up is the page i created for michelle ward's current crusade (#34, come over to the dark side). this is the first time i've played along, although i've been meaning to for quite some time. i'm not sure if this piece is finished, i have some thoughts about what else to do to it but i'm just letting them stew right now. it'll finish itself when it's ready, i think. anyway, this was created on a sheet of black cardstock with my new silver spray paint. i sprayed through my random dots stencil on to a scrap sheet and then printed with the stencil on to my cardstock. i tore out a print i had made of one of my silhouette figures, glued it to the cardstock, outlined it, wrote a few little things and stuck on a halloween sticker.

i enjoyed participating in this crusade and i think i'd like to go back through michelle's website and make pages for all of the past crusades and then create a journal with all the crusade inspired artwork.
i'm off to fix lunch for myself and the little one, do more laundry, do some cleaning and somewhere along the way try to squeeze in a little creativity of some sort....

Jessica - thanks for coming to play on the team! Super cool scan of the dots with the silhouette. Love this! I have enjoyed looking down through your posts at all your spray experiments too. Very cool stuff. Glad to have you on board!

Oooh love the spray through the dots. I like the way they sort of fade in and out. And as for going back and doing all the Crusades? Super cool. If you do, please share with us.

Hi Jessica,
I'm a few days late but I love your journal pages! The circles are very hip and 'moody'. Glad to have you on the 'dark side'
